The artist Candy Joyce was a special guest at the Geesemarket. During the festival „Mitten in Europa“ she had already designed the former tower station of the Stadtwerke in the Aspacher Straße together with two artists. This year, she worked with fourth-graders from local primary school, the Schillerschule to create two large murals. One shows the logo of the Schillerschule, the other a colourful goose in keeping with the Geesemarket theme. The two murals will be put up in the Schillerschule. Visitors to the Geesemarket were also able to get involved and help design the mural.
